My Life

  1. Dear Plum,

I feel your pain... Ellie doesn't let me sleep peacefully under her covers either. She always insists on making the bed WITHOUT me in it. Your use of Capitals echoes my feelings perfectly. Well put! Happy New Year to you, Emma and your daddy. We look forward to your new adventures in 2017.

    Love,
    Giorgi and Ellie

  2. Hi Plum,
I know this too, my dad is unfortunately the same. But my mom does not make the bed until I get up, she understands me.

  3. Quite a rude shock to the system. I remember my 8 year old nephew doing roughly the same thing to me.

I hope you had a good Christmas, Plum. James picked me up on Boxing Day for the afternoon. We had a walk, then we went crazy in the garden with a small football. While he recovered I sat on his knee squeaking with affection, then we went crazy in the garden all over again until it was time to go home. I think everyone enjoyed it. signed, Molly XXXXX

  4. Dear Plum,
I bought your book a few weeks ago and have read it a thousand times so far :D You're such a lovely "girl". Cheers from Brazil

  5. I think that is a most unkind thing to do to you Plum, and I am surprised and disappointed in Emma who has always seemed to be quite a nice person, as humans go.
It might still however be preferable to the underhand tactics of my own so-called carer. I am a dog who needs her sleep to maintain my all round excellence, and this can often extend into what some people term as 'afternoon'. Rather than having the duvet removed, I tend to wake (often from heatstroke) to find myself quite closely in its grip..... and then find the 'hilarious' photographs of us that have been generously shared with friends who should know better.
Either way, I think it's just RUDE!
Happy new year anyway Plum, with love from Fudge.

PS I did so admire that picture of you with the well-groomed leafy look xx

  6. Dear Plum,

I am so sorry that you have pancreatitis! How can you bear to go on with No Treats and not even a nice snooze under the covers in the morning?
My Mum is as heartless as Emma and when I try to supervise The Changing Of The Sheets she pulls the fitted sheet right over me and tries to trap me! I always manage to escape and get in between the sheet and the duvet just to assert my domination over the bedding. My Mum is such a dork sometimes!!
Emma should be getting you a nice fluffy soft sheepskin to rest your weary body after a nice big breakfast! Meaghan has a sheepskin to sleep on because she has arthritis but I won't even step on it, I jump over it or tiptoe around it in case it comes to life, but Meaghan loves it and says it warms her old bones.

Happy New Year to all of you and I hope you have a wonderful year with lots of swimming and tummy rubs!!

    Love,
    Gracie, Meaghan, and Gracie's Mom

  7. Yo Plummers...it's been a while. I totally get it, but at least you don't live with "She who hoovers constantly" and by the way, I do NOT appreciate being constantly falsely accused of having been places that I would never, ever be. At least I'm PRETTY sure I wouldn't. That hair proves nothing. Since you are part Poodle, you probably don't shed you lucky duck.

    Kisses,
    Nick
